How to become more successful

So here's what I've learned about becoming more successful in business and in life in general. It's not easy. It takes lots of effort, persistence and resilience which is the ability to bounce back from failures.
I've learned that success comes from helping other people get more of what they need and want in life. In other words living a life of service to something greater than oneself is a key to being successful.
This flies directly in the face of the idea that success means getting as much money and new shiny things as you can. Those things may come if you work hard enough and have a good team and mentors etc but they don't bring happiness.
Success is a daily process of learning, trying, sharing and then repeating the process. And remember that the emphasis here is on the word process. Success is more of a journey than a destination.
We will make money at various points of our career, business or efforts. We will get awards sometimes. We will get people to shower us with appreciation. We will even get hugs and pats on the back. But the way we succeed as a person is to keep learning and giving more value to the world around us.
